1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing or using the Namadhu Uzhavan app ("the app"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What the app is
Namadhu Uzhavan is a free mobile application that helps farmers record income, expenses, labour and activities for their harvests, view reports, and optionally back up data to their own Google Drive.
3. Your account
- Sign-in is optional and uses your own Google account, only to enable the backup feature.
- You are responsible for keeping your Google account and device secure.
- You must be old enough to manage a Google account in your country, and at least 13 years old.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, resell or misrepresent the app, or use it to store unlawful content.
5. Your data and your responsibility
- All records you enter are stored on your device. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
- The backup feature copies data to your own Google Drive. Backups may fail due to network or account issues — do not rely on the app as your only record of financial transactions.
- Uninstalling the app deletes local data. Keep a backup before changing or resetting your device.
6. No professional advice
The app's calculations (profit, pending payments, totals, etc.) are informational tools based on the data you enter. They are not accounting, tax, investment or agricultural advice. For decisions affecting your business, consult a qualified professional.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its name, logo, design and source code remain the property of their respective owners. These terms grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the app — not ownership.
8. Third-party services
The optional backup uses Google Sign-In and Google Drive, which are governed by Google's terms (policies.google.com/terms). We are not responsible for those services.
9. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Features may change or be removed in updates.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss of data, crop decisions, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.
11. Updates and changes
- App updates: may be released to improve or change the app. Some features may require updating.
- These terms: may be updated from time to time. The current version is always on this page with its effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may restrict access if these terms are violated or the app is discontinued.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.
